With an ever so changing sociopolitical environment in the United States, safe spaces are becoming harder and harder to find. Especially for Black creatives. “Tilling the Black Soul” art show aims to develop and curate an exhibition of work from young, independent, Black artists. Featuring pieces that explore the interrelationship between Black interiority and the broader political landscape. Featured artist coming in from all around the DMV area as well as North Carolina, New York, and Atlanta.

All profits are going to the local Washington, DC charity "Art Enables". An entrepreneurial arts program in which self-taught adult artists with developmental, intellectual, or mental disabilities create "outsider" art. Come support!!
